Delano Community Education and the Wright County Soccer Club have partnered together to offer Open Soccer on Friday nights. The Open Soccer program provides an opportunity for you to come and play pickup soccer with friends and teammates in a fast-paced, fun soccer environment. The gameplay is facilitated and monitored by a responsible adult, but no coaching is allowed; simply come and play soccer! Proper soccer attire is required: shin guards, tennis or turf shoes, and please bring a water bottle (no water source in the facility). Soccer balls are provided.
Every participant must sign a waiver A parent or guardian must sign for students under age 18 A waiver can be signed online during registration. If you would like to print and sign a waiver, stop by the Community Education Center office You can sign a waiver form the first night you attend the program
Players cannot participate until the fee is paid and a waiver is signed. Join in any or all Friday evenings! Register online or in person.
Parents, if you register your child on the day of the activity, please print out and bring with you the registration confirmation email that is sent to you after your child is registered. If your child's name is not on the registration list that the Open Soccer staff has, you will be asked to show proof that you registered your child online.
Program Prerequisites: Participants must be able to run, follow two-step directions, demonstrate foot-eye coordination to attempt to dribble, pass, or shoot a soccer ball, jump, verbally communicate with peers and coaches, and be able to work as a team with their peers.
