Delano Community Education

The Delano MAGA Gymnastics Competition Team is by invite only! 

Participants must tryout, meet the team skill requirements, and receive coach approval before registering for this program.

The Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Association or MAGA provides competitive gymnastics for youth and junior ages.

• The MAGA program is typically used as a feeder program into the High School Gymnastics Program.
• The MAGA program uses the same rules and scoring as the high school program.
• Gymnasts have the opportunity to compete against other teams and are judged by age groups.
  • AGE GROUPS: Gymnast’s age JAN. 1 of that competitive season
  • NOVICE: 9 and under
  • CHILDREN: 10 and 11 years old
  • JUNIOR: 12 and 13 years old
  • SENIOR: 14 and over
• The competition season starts in November and goes through early March.

Team Fees

Practice Fees are separate from the MAGA Team Competition Fee.

• Fees paid to the Midwest Armature Gymnastics Association
  • Club fee
  • Team fee
  • Individual athlete fee
• Competition (meet) registration fees
• Administrative fees
• Staff fees
• Team warm up leotard
• Team competitive leotard
