Herbs have a great deal to offer us – enhancing the nutritional value of our meals, providing healing properties, and adding enjoyment to our social gatherings. Discover which common herbs to incorporate into your everyday menus, spice up happy hours, and prepare for the changing seasons. Feel free to attend one class, two, or all three.
Culinary Herbs – The Spice of Life!
Come on a taste journey with a variety of common herbs and spices. During this class, you'll taste various herbs in different recipes, notice their properties, and learn how to use herbs and spices to support your wellness. You will also discover ways to preserve herbs, along with recipes to try at home.

Herbal Beverages Morning to Night
Embark on an herbal beverage adventure. Beginning with morning blends to improve digestion and enhance focus, then moving on to create refreshing beverages to share, and finally, making evening tea to promote calm and sleep. During the class, you will sample herbal drinks and learn how to create blends and recipes.

Nikki Nau, who has worked with plants as food and medicine through organic farming, biodynamic gardening, permaculture design, and herbalism, will be leading the class. As a community herbalist, she strives to bring people and plants together to more fully experience the wonders of the ecosystem in which we live.
