This is a yoga class suited for beginners. It is also appropriate for prenatal women, seniors, and folks with restricted movement (due to fibromyalgia, MS, etc.), and those who are looking for a consistent gentle exercise that will help build strength, greater flexibility, increased stamina and better balance. We will move through poses in a heat-building style as we practice gentle postures that work the joints and glands. There will be 45-50 minutes of movement, followed by 10-15 minutes of relaxation, critical for creating balance in the body and mind.Please bring a yoga mat, strap, block, and cotton or wool blanket.Annalisa BraggNOTE: Session W1 classes will be taught by Joanne Prillaman (Red Cedar Yoga) from January 7 through January 23.
