    This class is for 4 and 5-year-olds that are not yet in Kindergarten. In this class, your child will learn the basics of gymnastics while improving their coordination and flexibility. Directions for entering through Door #5 Campus Map

  • Beginners Gymnastics

    This class is for students that completed Kindergarten or a higher grade during the 2023-24 school year. Gymnasts will learn the basics of gymnastics. Cartwheels, pullovers, board approaches, and beam basics will be taught. The beginner level class is one hour long. Gymnasts at this level should attend one time per week.   • Intermediate Gymnastics

    Gymnasts will expand on the basics and move on to more difficult skills. Participants will be taught walkovers, glides, pop-ups, turns, and cartwheels on the beam. The intermediate sessions are two hours long. Gymnasts at this level can attend 1 - 2 times per week if scheduling allows. Directions for entering through Door #5 Campus Map

  • Advanced / Masters Gymnastics

    Advanced: Gymnasts will learn handsprings, squat ons, flatbacks, and confidence on high beams. Advanced class sessions are two hours long. Gymnasts at this level can attend 2 - 3 times per week if scheduling allows. Masters: At the Master’s level, we will advance your gymnastics skills even further. Tumbling, kips and handsprings will be taught. Masters sessions are two hours long. It is suggested that gymnasts at this level register for 2-3 classes per week if scheduling allows.   • High School Gymnastics Camp

    > entering grades 7 - 12 This camp is for gymnasts interested in participating in high school gymnastics. All skill levels are welcome to participate.   • Delano Competition Gymnastics Team (MAGA) Fall Tryouts

    Intermediate Level Gymnasts or Higher The Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Association, or MAGA, provides competitive gymnastics opportunities for youth and junior ages. Gymnasts have the opportunity to compete against other teams and are judged by age groups. Age Groups (Gymnast’s age January 1st of that competitive season): NOVICE: 9 and under CHILDREN: 10 and 11-year-olds JUNIOR: 12 and 13-year-olds SENIOR: 14 and over Delano will carry a maximum of 20 participants (10 per team) in the competitive team (MAGA) program. The competition season starts in November and goes through early March. Meets are held on Saturdays and/or Sundays. During the season, gymnasts are expected to practice two times per week minimum. Practice times and days will follow the same format as current Advanced and Masters programs. Practices will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m., with the potential for added practice sessions on Thursdays and Saturdays (an additional fee will be required for added practice sessions). Practice fees are separate from the Competitive Team (MAGA) Competition Fee. The Competitive Team (MAGA) Fee includes all MAGA fees (club fee, team fee, individual fee - paid to MAGA), as well as competition and warm-up leos, meet fees, admin fees, etc. The MAGA Team Competition Fee will be determined after tryouts have been completed and team members have been selected. The fee can be paid using a payment plan or in full at the start of the season. Participants should expect a fee between $800 - $900 for the season. This range can fluctuate depending on the number of MAGA Team participants selected for the season. During the offseason, gymnasts are encouraged to register for at least two sessions a week. Practice dates and times will be posted in the Community Education Brochure and online at https://delano.ce.eleyo.com/. Registration Deadline: Friday, September 6. Qualifications: Gymnasts must be at the Advanced level to be considered for the competitive team.
