    Adult / High School Summer Tennis Drills > adults with experience & JV/Varsity High School players The Summer Tennis Drills program will consist of a variety of doubles, singles, and team games that are guaranteed to give you a good workout. Jake Olson Program Prerequisites: Participants must be able to follow a series of directions, demonstrate hand-eye coordination to hold and throw a tennis ball, verbally communicate with peers and coaches, run, shuffle side-to-side, and hold and swing a tennis racket. Players should be able to sustain a rally of 10+ shots from the baseline.
  • Boys Tennis for Grades 6-9

    > Boys entering grades 6-9 Are you ready to take your tennis game to the next level? This six-week program is geared toward players with some experience and looking to improve their game. Through drills, games, and match scenarios, players will work to refine their strokes and develop a deeper understanding of strategy & court positioning.   • Delano Middle School Tennis League

    Delano Middle School Tennis League > ages 10 - 14 The Delano Middle School Tennis League will allow newer or experienced players to play singles, doubles, and mixed doubles matches against other players. Athletes will play sets against a variety of opponents. Match locations will rotate between Delano and area tennis courts. Participants are responsible for their transportation to all league locations Program Prerequisites: Participants must be able to follow a series of directions, demonstrate hand-eye coordination to hold and throw a tennis ball, keep a rally going, verbally communicate with peers and coaches, run, shuffle side-to-side, and hold and swing a tennis racket.
  • Girls Tennis Fall Season Warm-Up

    Girls Tennis Fall Season Warm-Up > entering grades 6 - 12 The Girls' Tennis Fall Season Warm-up will prepare all girls planning to play tennis this fall for the season. The Fall Season Warm-up will focus on fundamentals, strategies, mental toughness, and physical conditioning. Matchplay is another element that coaches will incorporate into the sessions to develop participants’ abilities.     Players entering grades 9-12 (grades 7-8 players by invitation only) The High School Open Court program is for high school players looking for competitive match play, game-based drills, individual instruction, and classic tennis games.   • Junior Tiger Tennis

    Junior Tiger Tennis Camp > entering grades 1 - 7 If you have ever wanted to experience the excellent, lifelong game of tennis, now is your chance! This six-week program will take players through the many fundamentals of tennis, exposing participants to a wide variety of drills, games, and competitions. You will most definitely have fun! Jake Olson & staff * After beginning camp, some players may be asked to move based on numbers/ability. * Players entering grades 3 & 5 should decide based on ability, experience, and schedule. * Girls Entering 7th Grade: It is recommended that 7th-grade girls who plan to play Junior High Tennis in the Fall register for the “Girl’s Tennis Fall Season Warm-Up” program. Make-up policy: One rain cancellation is not made up.   • Private Tennis Lessons

    Private Tennis Lessons To reserve a private lesson, please complete your registration and payment below or by calling the Community Education office. After registering, please complete the Private Tennis Lesson Scheduling Form using this link Private Tennis Lessons Scheduling Form Link (Click Here). You will be contacted by a coach to schedule individual lessons once you submit the Private Lesson Scheduling form. *All lessons must be pre-paid before a coach will contact you to schedule the lesson(s). *Typical times available are Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., and Sundays from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Program Prerequisites: Participants must be able to follow a series of directions, demonstrate hand-eye coordination to hold and throw a tennis ball, verbally communicate with peers and coaches, run, shuffle side-to-side, and hold and swing a tennis racket.
  • Tennis Clinic

    > grades 1 - 6 This camp will focus on proper grips, footwork, rallying, and tennis’ basic strokes, including the forehand, backhand, volley, and serves. We will also be learning and playing many tennis games throughout this process. Participants will need to bring a tennis racquet. The clinic will be held outside, so please dress appropriately, and bring sunscreen and a water bottle. Space is limited, so register early. Program Note: participants will be grouped by ability after the first session. Coach Brianna Dorr & High School Staff Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, the clinic will either move into the Tiger Activity Center if space is available, or it will be held on a makeup date to be announced.
